Today is #BlackWomenEqualPay, representative of the number of days into 2017 a black woman must work to earn same pay a white man made in 2016.

As a self-proclaimed sunset aficionado, its no wonder I was heavily inspired by the sunset for this week's Cocoa Color Story. (I can probably name my top 5 fave epic sunset locations off the top of my head; one of them being this AMAZING blazing orange sunset I captured on my rooftop in NYC)

A really good black eye liner is a must have item for any proper makeup arsenal. Having a darker complexion can make it especially difficult to find a liner that is truly jet black, especially on top on any shadows and glitters you may use in your eye looks. Summer is here and it's time to break out all things warm, glowy, and bronzy. Here are some warm brown blushes that bring warmth to any makeup look. They can double as both bronzers and blushes, depending on your complexion. 

Every time a new eyeshadow palette or highlighter palette is announced, the Internet goes crazy, products sell out in seconds, and beauty junkies run wild. It's safe to say that most people love a good palette, but sometimes you just need the shades that are tried and true that you know will work for you, the shades you would throw in your bag if you had to travel someplace ASAP!

I don't know about you, but I can never get enough of a warm eye shadow palette. Matte oranges, metallic bronzes, and deep browns are right up my alley. The OG Morphe 35O palette (does anyone remember when they would sell out every week?) and Nubian Juvia's Place palettes have solidified themselves as go-tos for us warm toned lovers, but over the past month, they have run into some MAJOR competition. 

I've always been a visual learner.
